20N DÍA INTERNACIONAL DE LOS DERECHOS DE LA INFANCIA

 20- N. Derechos de la Infancia.

Ayer conmemoramos el Día Internacional de los Derechos de la Infancia con la suelta de unos globos aerostáticos en recuerdo de los niños y niñas que no pueden acceder a su derecho de asistir al colegio. Ha sido una semana de trabajo en Lengua y Matemáticas para terminar volando los globos construidos por los niños y niñas de 5ºB y 5ºC. Han trabajado en mediciones, cálculos y expresión escrita sobre el proceso a seguir y los materiales necesarios. Un gran trabajo con un bonito final!! Espero que lo disfruten como nosotros lo hemos disfrutado en el proceso.

20- N. Children's Rights. Yesterday we commemorated the International Day of Children's Rights with the release of some hot air balloons in memory of the children who cannot access the right to attend school. It has been a week of work in Language and Mathematics to end by flying the balloons built by the children of 5ºB and 5ºC. They have worked on measurements, calculations and written expression about the process and the necessary materials. A great job with a nice ending!! I hope you enjoy it as much as we have enjoyed the process.

Ciencia y Mitología en el área de Comunicación Lingüística

 El perímetro de Cartago

Bonita leyenda mitológica trabajada y desarrollada por el alumnado de 3ºB del CEIP Sagrado Corazón de Jesús. Además de trabajar descripciones y redacción, han  memorizado un fragmento de la historia para su posterior grabación. 
También han descubierto las matemáticas que esconden esta historia doblando, plegando y cortando un papel hasta obtener un inmerso circulo. Aquellos interesados en la plantilla, contactar con nosotros.

Beautiful mythological legend worked on and developed by the 3rd B students of the CEIP Sagrado Corazón de Jesús. In addition to working on descriptions and writing, they have memorized a fragment of the story for later recording.

They have also discovered the mathematics that hides this story by folding, folding and cutting a paper until they obtain an immersed circle. Those interested in the template, contact us.

Robótica Educativa (Makey- Makey) 

Makey Makey es una placa electrónica que permita convertir objetos cotidianos en paneles táctiles y combinarlos con internet o Scratch. Con unos simples conocimientos de conductividad  y del uso de Scratch puedes crear trabajos de todo tipo: arte, ciencias, lengua, etc. Básicamente es un circuito electrónico. Te enseñamos en este vídeo algunas aplicaciones:

LENGUA Y CIENCIAS

 EL CROMA EN EL AULA

Os presentamos una forma de utilizar las nuevas tecnología de la mano del área de Lengua y Ciencias: el Croma. En el área de lengua, el alumnado tiene que trabajar, a través del Story board, el contenido del guión. Por equipos, se reparten las diferentes  escenas del story board y cada alumno hace la composición escrita de su parte. Una vez realizado, de nuevo por equipos, tendrán que darle forma y componer un guión final. 

Una vez confeccionado el guión, cada integrante del grupo tendrá que memorizar su parte antes de hacer la grabación. El software utilizado para grabar el croma es libre, OBS. Os dejo algunas fases del trabajo y los video resultado de los 4 grupos.

THE CROMA IN THE CLASSROOM

We present a way to use the new technology hand in hand with the Language and Sciences area: Chroma. In the language area, the students have to work, through the Story board, the content of the script. In teams, the different scenes of the story board are distributed and each student makes the written composition of the part of it. Once done, again by teams, they will have to shape it and compose a final script.

Once the script is made, each member of the group will have to memorize the part of it before making the recording. The software used to record the chroma is free, OBS. I leave you some phases of the work and the video results of the 4 groups.

         El trabajo con teselas es enormemente creativo. Os dejamos un vídeo estupendo realizado por Jaime Cabrera (maestro compañero nuestro en el CEIP Atalaya - Atarfe, 2º nivel) donde nos enseña cómo fabricar la tesela del hueso, de la Alhambra. Es magnífico.

     Working with tiles is extremely creative. We leave you a wonderful video made by Jaime Cabrera (our partner teacher in CEIP Atalaya - Atarfe, 2nd level) which teaches us how to make the bone tile, like in the Alhambra. It's great!

I Jornadas de Eco-ciencia-Coeducativa-Tic / First Conference of Eco-Science-coeducational-Tic

Jornadas de Puertas Abiertas a toda la comunidad escolar y educativa de otras localidades, donde se pongan en jaque todas o casi todas las actividades realizadas en el centro y cuyo eje vertebral sea la ciencia, el método científico y nuestro  laboratorio escolar. En mayo de 2008 conseguimos organizar las I JORNADAS DE ECO – CIENCIA – COEDUCATIVA- TIC. Fueron tres intensos días de actividades, en sesiones de mañana y tarde, en los que principalmente intentamos hacer llegar la Ciencia al resto de alumnado de la comarca y a todas las personas adultas y de otros centros que quisieron acompañarnos.

    Cómo no, todos estamos inmersos en el comienzo del nuevo curso escolar. Bienvenidos a todos, los que nos seguís y los que nos visitáis por vez primera.

   Este verano hemos tenido interesantes novedades. Hemos sido seleccionados como finalistas en el Certamen Iberoamericano Ciencia en Acción, y por vez primera una misma autoría de Primaria opta a premio en dos categorías muy distintas:

• MODALIDAD “LABORATORIO DE BIOLOGÍA”:  “PEQUEMUNDO, O CÓMO ESTUDIAR MICROBIOLOGÍA CON NIÑOS DE 7 AÑOS” del CEIP Atalaya, Atarfe (Granada).
• MODALIDAD “HABLA DE ASTRONOMIA-ADOPTA UNA ESTRELLA”: “VIAJE AL SISTEMA SOLAR” del CEIP Atalaya, Atarfe (Granada).

Los ganadores serán proclamados en Bilbao, el domingo 6 de octubre después de una feria de ciencias en la que competiremos con varias universidades e institutos, y que comenzará el viernes 4 de octubre. Estamos haciendo todo lo posible por asistir y viajar con nuestro alumnado, que sólo tiene 10 años...

This summer we have had exciting news. We have been selected as finalists in the iberoamerican competition Science in Action, and apparently, for the first time a Primary School can win awards in two very different categories:

• MODE "BIOLOGY LAB": "Pequemundo, OR HOW TO STUDY MICROBIOLOGY WITH CHILDREN 7 YEARS" CEIP Atalaya, Atarfe (Granada).
• MODE "SPEAKING OF ASTRONOMY-ADOPTS A STAR": "JOURNEY TO THE SOLAR SYSTEM" CEIP Atalaya, Atarfe (Granada).

The winning entries will be announced in Bilbao, on Sunday October 6 after a science fair in which we will compete with several universities and institutes, and which will begin on Friday October 4. We are making every effort to travel so far, with our young students (10 years old)...

Investigando el Mundo Vegetal /

     Como lo prometido es deuda, estas fichas completan el material de 3º de Primaria. Con una serie de sencillos experimentos en el aula, podemos descubrir más sobre los tropismos, la flor y la circulación de la savia en los tallos de las plantas

Midiendo longitudes / Measuring length

     Existen muchas maneras de introducir a los niños en el uso del metro y otras unidades de longitud. Este es sólo un ejemplo. Fue usado en un colegio de Primaria con niños de 8 años (3º nivel). Aunque actualmente está en revisión para incorporar el uso de las nuevas tecnologías (principalmente la fotografía digital), no deja de ser útil por su sencillez.
     El próximo lunes publicaremos la última ficha de trabajo diseñada para 3º de Primaria.

     There are many ways to introduce children in the use of units of length. This is just an example. It was used in a primary school with children of 8 years (3rd level). Although currently these worksheets are being revised to incorporate the use of new technologies (mainly, digital photography), they are useful for its simplicity yet.
