 Talleres en el cole: "8 de Marzo: Día de la Mujer"

Con este taller, hemos querido poner en valor el trabajo de la mujer en el campo de la cuidadora de personas mayores.
Doy entrada a este nuevo video con esta pregunta: ¿Qué hace que seamos humanos y civilizados? Con este taller, de la mano de la mamá Valeriana Calvo Palma nos introduce en la labor del cuidador de personas mayores y al final del video, damos la solución a la pregunta planteada. Workshops at school: "March 8: Women's Day"

With this workshop, we wanted to highlight the work of women in the field of caring for the elderly.

ONG AUPA

 ¿Qué nos mueve ayudar a los demás?... y sin esperar nada a cambio.

Seguimos obteniendo resultados de aquellas cartas que escribieron a distintas ONG. Hoy, vemos el resultado de AUPA con los niños y niñas con cáncer y, además, con el ejemplo de nuestro héroe Leo:

 MUJER Y NIÑA EN LA CIENCIA

En estos días celebramos el Día Internacional de la Mujer y la Niña en la Ciencia. Hoy, hemos tenido la enorme suerte de contar en colegio con 2 grandes investigadoras del Consejo Superior de investigaciones Científicas (CSIC - EEZZ): Alicia García Puente y Tamara Molina Marqués. Con ellas, hemos transformado la biblioteca del centro en un pequeño laboratorio en el que han participado alumnado de 1º y 3º de Primaria, junto con las maestras de ciencias del 1º y 2º ciclo. Nos han enseñado que las plantas tienen distintos colores, conocidos como pigmentos y, hemos aprendido, de forma segura, divertida y rigurosa, a extraer los pigmentos de las espinacas, utilizando material de laboratorio: gradillas, frasco lavador, tubos de ensayo, pipetas, papel de filtro, colador....
Muchas gracias a Alicia y Tamara por su trabajo desinteresado con el colegio y dedicación con los escolares. Estoy seguro que hoy alguien ha descubierto su vocación de futuro. GRACIAS.

WOMEN AND GIRLS IN SCIENCE

These days we celebrate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. Today, we have been very lucky to have two great researchers from the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC - EEZZ) at school: Alicia García Puente and Tamara Molina Marqués. With them, we have transformed the school library into a small laboratory in which students from 1st and 3rd year of Primary School have participated, together with the science teachers from 1st and 2nd cycle. They have taught us that plants have different colours, known as pigments, and we have learned, in a safe, fun and rigorous way, to extract the pigments from spinach, using laboratory material: racks, washing flask, test tubes, pipettes, filter paper, strainer...

Many thanks to Alicia and Tamara for their selfless work with the school and dedication to the students. I am sure that today someone has discovered their future vocation. THANK YOU.

 ESTE EXPERIENTO ES LA LECHE

Buena mañana de sábado!! Muchos de los niños y niñas me han insistido en poder compartir con vosotros el último de los experimentos de esta semana. Queríamos aprovechar la sesión de experimentación con las investigadoras del CSIC, Alicia y Tamara, para seguir practicando con el uso de la pipeta. Esta herramienta permite mejorar el equilibrio, pulso, coordinación óculo-manual, precisión, destreza... además de cuantificadores, nociones matemáticas, monedas de € y valores fundamentales como cooperación, esperar turno, compartir... y todo ello, a través de la pregunta inicial: ¿Cuantas gotas de agua le caben a una moneda de 1 céntimo? Antes de ver el video, podéis hacer vuestras predicciones matemáticas....

THIS EXPERIENCE IS THE MOST AMAZING

 UN TALLER PARA SALVAR VIDAS: RCP,  AMBULANCIA Y SOS

Seguimos con los talleres interactivos e inmersivos. En esta ocasión, gracias a Lucas Fdez. (papá de Jimena) hemos podido tener y conocer de primera mano el interior de un ambulancia, acompañado de un taller de SOS. Además, con Carmen, la enfermera de referencia del colegio, el mismo día pudimos cuadrar el taller de RCP (Respiración Cardiopulmonar) y aprovechamos para poner en conocimiento lo que habíamos aprendido sobre el pulmón y sus partes en nuestro taller de "Pulmón artificial". Gracias a todos los adultos implicados y el resultado.... MARAVILLOSO. ¿Lo quieren comprobar?

A WORKSHOP TO SAVE LIVES: CPR, AMBULANCE AND SOS

We continue with the interactive and immersive workshops. On this occasion, thanks to Lucas Fdez. (Jimena's father) we were able to have and see first-hand the inside of an ambulance, accompanied by an SOS workshop. In addition, with Carmen, the school's reference nurse, on the same day we were able to arrange the CPR (Cardiopulmonary Respiration) workshop and we took advantage of the opportunity to share what we had learned about the lung and its parts in our "Artificial Lung" workshop.
